Hello community,
I'm an 11B with the Nat. Guard currently. I'm in the process of transferring to active duty with the intent of becoming a Green Beret. This has been a dream of mine for quite a while, but for most of that time I allowed myself to be convinced my family and friends that staying here where its warm and fuzzy is the right thing to do. Then I did my first deployment overseas and excelled so I was picked out of my battalion to attend Air Assault school and the Rappel Master course. I think it brought back the dream and now I'm making the necessary steps to achieve it. I joined this site so I can learn what the proper steps are, what to expect joining this community, and how I can be the best addition to the organization that I can.
