Hey everyone, hopefully doing this introduction can redeem my past fuck ups aka breaking countless rules, spamming, and customs of this blog/forum. So I’ll give a brief background about me before I go into detail about my plans for my future service. I graduated high school in 2017, I’ve always wanted join the military all my life, but I’m also a big advocate of some form of higher education. After some turmoil to enlist or go to college, I decided I’d test out this whole college thing. With the year winding down, my experience was overall enjoyable. Although, I have to say that I felt stagnant like I really wasn’t really doing what I was truly passionate about (due to the college not offering degrees in the field I want). So I decided to finally enlist in the army. I did just about average on my asvab, but unfortunately there aren’t any more option 40 contracts available right now, so I most likely will be leaving in October when the fiscal year ends and new contracts come out. I hope this community can help answer any questions I have throughout the process. Finally I just want to thank those who are serving/served there aren’t enough words to express my graditude to you who protect us and our freedoms.
