I have been in for a little under 8 years now, serving mostly in reconnaissance units. I have always been interested in going special operations and tried for my Green Beret 3 years ago but got injured and was med dropped in the process. Since then I have been back in the reconnaissance world getting ready to go across the pond. When we get back I am going to leave the guard and go active duty. My aspiration is to become a JTAC and eventually make it in to an STS should I make the cut. Injury is still a big concern of mine and while I am currently pursuing treatment for a bunch of nagging injuries, I figured it couldn't hurt to get some honest opinion from guys who have been there and done that on my choice to go JTAC with a history of injury and being almost 32 by the time of be able to go to the school house. Looking forward to speaking with you guys.
