Hello All,

I've been going through old posts over the past couple of weeks and it has been extremely informative. I thought it was time for an introduction.

I'm an aerospace engineer working for the Department of Defense and am looking into the possibility of enlisting in the National Guard and giving the SF pipeline my all. I'm 31 years old and very happy with my civilian career, but serving in the military, particularly in a SOF role, has been something that I've always wanted to do. Recently I learned that this option exists through the National Guard, which seems like a good opportunity to potentially live out that dream while still keeping my engineering career up and running, though I understand that the time demanded by NG SF is considerably more than the 1 wknd/month, 2 wks/year advertised schedule. Regardless, I'm not getting any younger, and it seems like it's now or never.

Looking forward to future discussions.
