Hello all, and Happy New Year. I'm starting off 2018 on a good note, finally making the decision to enlist after years of putting it off. Let's see, to start off with, I'm a 22 year old college student. My major is Human Biology with a Pre-Med concentration. I'm considering taking a minor in Applied Linguistics, but that's doubtful. Ever since I graduated high school, I've wanted to be a Ranger. If you couldn't tell already, medicine is something I am very passionate about, and being a Ranger medic sounds amazing to me.

I like to think that for a 22 year old, I'm rather grounded compared to others my age. I went through the frat guy life and it gets old quickly. About a year ago I took a heavy interest in politics, history, and astronomy among other stuff. I also became a devout Catholic and monarchist during that time. I went through a reading list of some 20-odd classical texts in my honors program recently, including Dante's Divine Comedy and the Aeneid by Virgil. Reading those really put my life into perspective, and to be honest made me feel like shit. There was something greater in life that I was missing and I think this is it. Currently, I'm attending EMT school and want to work on a 911 rig while I get physically ready for RASP. The experience would be great, not to mention I can qualify for ACASP and make E-4 before Basic.

I could go on, but I hope this will do for now.

Thank you for letting me in the forums, I look forward to learning a lot from you all.

Great into.

Welcome aboard! Best of success to you on your future goals and objectives.
