Got together with a group of guys from another forum - who the hell knew you could put a red-dot on a pistol! And firing 600 yards with a suppressed weapon is REALLY freeking cool -
It looks like a late 50's early 60's model... and the Savages and Weatherby's looked similar.... except for the safety, which, alas, was not visible.
I love my 1956 Win Mod 70 Featherweight in .308... I just wish the person that gave it to me had been a fan of bull rather than tapered barrels... it does jump a bit on a rest or bipod. Not nearly as solid as the FN/FAL Para (Belgian FN-H).... but I'm still saving up for the railed bolt cover for it... just because scoping it would be bad-ass... the irons are accurate as hell, but scoped just screams, I don't care how far away you are, as long as I keep the original serial number matched bolt cover. Scoped with a bayonet mounted.... I need that pic...
