Kinsel fought as a Marine throughout some of the toughest battlefields in World War II, using code derived from the Navajo language to create an unbreakable communication tool for the military.

Navajos and Native Americans in general have a proud history of serving in combat arms. My buddy Billy Fragua is a Navajo (that's him and me in Oz) and we got to see each other at the Combined Action monument dedication at Quantico recently. He's got white hair down to his shoulders now, looks like he's ready to go on the Warpath.
