McRaven tapped to be new SOCOM Commander

I respect the gentleman, but I'm not a fan of this idea.

I think in the past few years the SEAL Teams have been driving out of their lanes onto oncoming traffic a little bit. While everybody else has been driving on the right side of the road.

Saw a little bit of this when I was in, but the guys on the ground keep telling me that it has been increased tremendously in the past few years.

I've only read excerpts, but since he's going to be the new SOCOM commander, probably a good idea to read everything he's written.

I had the honor of meeting him several times and speaking with him when he was still at ST#3 as the Commander. Good guy, straight and to the point. He never seemed real PC to me or locked on with the sensitive crowd. He helped me and was very supportive. His book is excellent as well. Ummm that was 1995-1996 if I remember correctly the dates.
