Melbourne attack

Above there was a stab made at 16 officers who responded were on their first day on the job. I was just confused why this is a point of criticism. Isn’t the CBD also a training ground for new officers doing traffic control? Many were probably already in the vicinity? Maybe directing traffic? A car just ran tried to run over people after all...

It wasn't a stab... No wonder you're confused.

Okay, that wasn’t a nice way to express my dissatisfaction. But it was one of the things that frustrated me on this thread, the sense of vague, unhelpfulness when discussing my home city. Anyway, I’m backing off. I come here to read opinions of military personnel on how our authorities are performing according to their peers. While my ‘tone’ might indicate otherwise to those who want to read rudeness into it, I deeply appreciated those who took the time to provide proper and thoughtful responses. I’m a little frustrated, but I’d expect this forum of professionals to not take it personally. I’ll certainly be grateful and appreciative as I read commentary that adds to my knowledge as someone who actually lives here.

@Serenity - No one here has taken anything personally, but you appear to be very frustrated because you are not getting the answers you seek.

I think that is a good idea. If you press on, someone is going to end up replying back to you in a way that you will not like; please, take your own advice and leave this thread alone for a couple of days.
