Yeah, I liked the movie much more and why I was interested in checking out the series.
I don't know what it was but EP1 just didn't connect. It was slow and just wasn't engaging the way I hoped it would.

They framed the parents up as naive and gullible. It was way more than that. I don't know about you guys but I don't know anyone that was "tricked" into giving another dude a hand job. The whole story was very fucked up and difficult/disturbing to watch.
I figured I'd watch it once the whole series is available. That gives me a chance to look at two episodes back-to-back without forgetting anything from the first.

I think that is what he was comfortable admitting to. I bet it went a lot deeper than that.
I, uhh, use other methods. My coworkers use ExpressVPN to stream, but our lodging's wifi can suck at times, hence Kodi or other methods. I'm back in theater this weekend, I can ask if they have preferred methods.

Netflix works internationally. Same with Amazon prime. I usually pick up a 4G puck and just steam

Netflix is pretty good at identifying VPNs. I use windscribe. I have a life time subscription and they offer a US specific vpn for accessing Netflix stateside. But like I said, it's already available internationally with maybe a slight variation in offerings.
There's a few middle eastern countries that have 4G. The one I spend all of my time in just happens to be one of them.
While I'm not using it all over the world, the money you spend is worth it in my opinion. The download/upload speeds for international servers are on point, not to mention the P2P is top notch compared to other top VPN's free or subscription based.
ETA: The only server I've seen Netflix block for me is Sweden.

A couple episodes into season 5 of Ray Donovan and WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK OVER!?! lol This is one of best shows I've watched in a while. Nothing is predictable.
Thrilled you like it! I was a little worried people wouldn't give it a chance, the first two episodes are so 'un-Ray' like. Just wait, it gets better! ;)
At first I thought it was headed down a weird path. But I'm a few more episodes in (yes I'm binging) and the plot progression is well done. I think that's what is keeping me wanting to binge the next episode for answers. I'm going to be pissed when I catch up and have to wait for season 7.
