Just saw from the official Air Force page on Facebook that the new maximum age for enlisting is 39.

I remember seeing a least one person write about how they were turned away from being a PJ because of their age. Just wanted to give a heads up to whom it may concern

You need to link a source because there is nothing to be found except

What is the cut-off age to join the Air Force?
Non-prior service applicants must be at least 17 to apply and in Basic Military Training before their 28th birthday.

Officer Training School (OTS) applicants must be at least 17 to apply and commissioned before their 35th birthday.

I read through some of the comments they posted as well and it seems it only applies to Active Duty, and will it have no affect on likelihood of waivers being granted.

They're down sizing the military with the wars coming to an end. That means tightening up the criteria for enlistment across all branch.

New tattoo policies is another example of shrinking the force by making it harder to reenlist. You could be a stud hero of a soldier but that forearm tattoo make you no Bueno to the services now.
