I've seeing a number of reports stating the Chicago Bears have signed an agreement to build a new stadium in Northwest Indiana. In doing so, they may not be required to retain the Chicago name. Wow.

In all fairness, Bears is considered a derogatory name like redskins because it targets the native lion population of Michigan, the Norse settlers of Minnesota, and of course those living in Wisconsin who are religiously zealous for wearing cheese on their heads.

It only makes sense they should change their name because Chicago finished first in the NFCN, and therefore are the "haves" vs. "the-have-nots" in the other three states. Chicago privilege is a real thing and must be abolished.
