Norotos titanium rhno II repair

I’ve started to notice some bad rattle with the magnet inside the grey plastic compartment behind where the j arm snaps in. Any way to repair this, or reduce the rattle? Not even really sure what purpose the magnet serves since the rhno i’s dont have it.
