I'm pretty sure that was the deployment where they sank that LAV fording a river, no? If so, that driver is in my platoon.

Yeah they sank an LAV into the Helmand. I wasn't around for it. Same deployment we lost some guys to an SVEST, the BN SgtMaj to an IED etc...that should be quite memorable for anyone I was with.
