Best regards to all of you, and thank you sincerely for your service and commitment.
I'm a paramedic currently working the Donbass War in Ukraine, and have worked 911 Rescue and ERs in the US for roughly six years before moving overseas into this conflict zone. The Donbass War pales in comparison to those in Africa, or those in the Middle East, but it has been enough to show me that War is not at all what I thought it was, and that pretty much everything I ever thought was wrong.
Now I know that it's time to tow the anchor. I want to be part of the solution: to become the best I can be, and to offer the best of myself in service. I'm training now to join the USAF with the goal of becoming a PJ. I still have a tremendous amount of work to do, but I sincerely believe that this is what I've been made to do. I'm turning myself into a warrior that is worthy of applying for a shot at the pipeline, but I know I need guidance and advice.
I'm really honored and grateful to be able to learn from the greats and the fellow hopefuls on this site, and am looking forward to hearing from you all as I continue learning and growing to one day serve my country as a PJ. Thank you all for reading, and stay safe.
