Is the "victim" the shooter? They say the shooter was "neutralized", but don't say if the the one dead is a victim or the shooter.

Unless I misread it.

I had thought he was apprehended, but now can't find anything except "neutralized.

Update: "Five victims of the mass shooting at an Illinois manufacturing business have died, Aurora Chief of Police Kristen Ziman told reporters. The shooter was killed, the chief said, but it was unclear whether she was including his death in the total. "

State Senator in that district. Is a former Marine to whom I spoke with yesterday. She said it was pretty intense for a bit. But, she confirmed that the shooter got " fuckin' smoked". Her words, not mine.

Here’s hoping those officers heal up quickly.

City spokesmen should be instructed not to try and be cute with words like ‘neutralized’. If the cops shot and killed him, say exactly that. No one wants to hear stupid euphemisms.
