Back in my day SOPC and Student Conpany were in Old Division. I got relentlessly thrashed in the gravel area between these buildings as well as the infamous “gig” pit. A lot of men had themselves tested in these old buildings.

When I was in the 307th Engineer Battalion, we were relocated there in 1973 so our barracks in the Division area could be renovated...didn't hang around long enough to see what the refurbished barracks looked like...fun times...

Idk if the barracks we stayed in had been renovated since WW2. It was a wild place back then. (2006)

We renovated the barracks after we moved in...added partitions between the shitters, painted the outside...there was still no insulation in the walls (of course, there was no dry wall either)...just a cozy abode to spend one's time after training...
