Old Recon Marine

Been 58 years since I first became a Recon Marine. Went right to A Co, 2d Recon BN out of ITR. Recon was stood up in 1958 and I was selected as part of that in 1960. 2d BN only had 2 companies besides HQs. Later served with B Co, 3rd Recon BN and 2d Force. Still go to LeJeune ever June for the 2d Recon Association get together.

Glad to be on board. I have some pictures I took of 2d Force back in 63 at a Dog and Pony show if interested in me posting. Back then the logo had a submarine instead of the diver used now.
