Colonel John Frost's 2nd Battalion, 1st Parachute Brigade, 1st British Airborne Division (Red Devils) was occupying positions at the northern end of Arnhem Bridge. General Gavin's 82nd Airborne was capturing the Grave Bridge over the Maas River; and Maxwell Taylor's 101st was moving on it's objectives north of Eindhoven.
