Opportunities for AF Reserve docs

Would a doctor in the reserves (AF) be limited by their reserve status, or is there ample opportunity for operational medicine via the reserves? I understand details will be limited, but am curious to know if there are reserve units that use doctors similar to SOST, etc.

A recent SOST podcast mentioned they have IRR docs, but so far only use them as selection cadre.
