Hello,
I have been interested in Pararescue for a while and thought I had a good idea of what they did but after watching "Inside Combat Rescue" (which im sure is just a narrow view of what they do) it seemed like all they did was med evac. I was curious what their missions were and why they required such in depth training in the water if thats the majority of their missions are picking up the wounded.

125 different threads under the heading you posted this thread in... 124 of them are not this one... and you didn't even look... and that's just right there under your nose.
(if you just go to the top of the page and click on the bolded "Pararescue" you will see this wonderment of a list, magically appear on the screen in front of you.)

I cannot believe you had the unmitigated gall to open your saliva dripping fan boy pie hole in the area that held all of the answers you want when it's right under your bum sniffer... major FAIL... want to try again, after you open your eyes?

Please do not say you want to be a PJ... Please... because that would be a major embarrassment for you... you never know, one or two or three of the instructors from the pipeline might be reading this... (eta... yes we remember you said you were doing your freshman year in college to appease your parents and then you were going to get a Ranger contract... hence the embarrassment of you stating you're a PJ fanboy...)

Yes, this is dripping with sarcasm and venom... and I am not sorry because what you posted was just plain lazy.

Why do you feel the need to be spoonfed EVERY single fucking bit of knowledge you desire? I dont want an answer to that...marinate on it for a while...I already know the answer. Theres not much that pisses me off but the laziness of the "information age" to do their own homework gets me boiling. I enlisted 13 years ago and all I had to go off of was a measley pararescue pamplet and an ignorant recruiter. No interwebs, no youtube, no documentaries, no workout/training prep .com's. I had a piece of paper that said you must meet this standards to even get in the door to try out. Thats what I did. So it blows my mind when guys show up unprepared like clueless assclowns, which you reek of.

I know for a fact that the entire PJ mission profile and mission capabilities is listed on this site. Prepare to have your spoiled mind blown...I had 3 combat ops in Iraq that were...wait for it...in the WATER. WHAT??? IN THE DESERT??? HOW COULD THIS BE??

I read your ranger post and I can already tell you YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT. What if this happens? What if that happens? What kind of guys quit? Short answer...boys like YOU that ask those questions.

Thank you for wasting my time. Maybe just maybe youll be able to redeem yourself if you listen to whats been said and put in YOUR own work. Thats the only thing that will get you were ever it is your wishy washy lazy ass desires. PROOVE ME WRONG or DONT. Ive got men that have already put in the work waiting on me.

Not all missions are for the wounded. I am sure there were never combat missions that required the recovery of fallen heroes by Pararescuemen, since the body didn't have to be recovered from a canal or river with dive equipment.

Read The Perfect Storm.

There seems to be a run of new-ish members on here asking the same dumb lazy shit...

Happens every summer, just like Canadians flock to Florida every winter, and the tides run every 12 hours.

I have had a long week. A very long 2 months, actually, and I come here to this. Your steaming pile of fail you chose to leave on the doorstep of people that invest their time, energy, and actually care enough to get mad at you for something you have no idea about.

My Brother TXP said it perfectly. Fix yourself, pack sand. In that order.
