One of the truest forms of professionalism is calm in chaos. This Warrior exemplified it while doing one of the most serious things a human being can do - save another life. Well done, Warrior...well done indeed!

A number of years ago a young corpsman, something like an E3 or E3, drove up on an auto collision with multiple critical patients. He got to work. He earned a Navy and Marine Corps Medal, which is legit. In the interview he said (paraphrasing) he did a quick triage, went to the first patient, did his thing, went to the second, etc., right down the line. He said he was nervous but his training kicked in.

I love reading stories like these. Not because of the tragedies that are involved, but because of the abilities of those that are involved who do what they are trained to do and keep their composure when all those around them have lost theirs....
