FORT BRAGG, N.C. (USASOC News Service, May 30, 2008) - An allegation has been made against a member of the U.S. Army Special Forces Command, in reference to the death of an Afghan citizen in southern Afghanistan during early March of this year.
This incident was properly reported through the chain of command and has been referred to the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command for a prompt and thorough investigation.
The United States Army Special Operations Command and US Army Special Forces Command investigate all reportable incidents of alleged violations of the Law of Armed Conflict and will take appropriate action on substantiated incidents.
