But I do have to confess that my spidey sense is tingling.

No Rip-Its and not a single Maxim or Victoria’s Secret magazine in sight. Methinks that room been sterilized.

That wasn't their living quarters, them was their prepare for fighting quarters ;)

They may, they may not. But from the looks of these pictures, it seems that these were taken in a room dedicated to storing all of their gear.

We did the same for a while when I was there (each squad had its own building, our back room became a room to store our gear, we kept our M4 or other personal weapon with us/on us/or beside us while sleeping, the rest stayed in that room to reduce clutter so you could actually move around in our "house").

I found it so wierd that the US doesn't allow porn. When we deploy, we have it everywhere. I even have cutouts on the other side of my map, for Moral in the field.

My buddy who was in KAF, got the key to the porn amnesty box, and rescued all of the magazines from the US sector.

Maybe thats why, the US boys always stopped by our FOB.


And yes the pics look like they were taken in a "Ready room" or soemthing like that.

Were not allowed it either...but that don't stop any one lol..Its removed when Females are going to be present..(visitors and Female Troops)

LOL, on Roto 0 in Kabul when the Dutch pulled out; they gave us two 50 cal. ammo crates full of porn from their mess. Magazines and DVD's, you name it and it was probably there. Some weird freaky shit (yes there was scat films as well, :bleh:). All the stuff we didn't want we would sell off to the US troops when we stopped in their camps. I felt like a black market porn dealer.

Man, these Dutch Airborne guys had some freaky shit. :eek: Animals, feces, foreign objects, and all of the above in one. :doh: They were cool guys, it was great to be able to sit down and have a pint at the end of the day with some one that spoke English and wasn't Canadian. The braids and goatees took a bit to get used to at first but then all was good. lol
