Hello my name is Deep Singh and I coming back after a very long time as I have posted in the past about my older brother passing away and his dream of serving in SF as it is also mine. I waited about 4 years after his death and finally decided to join the ARMY as an 11Bravo and am currently stationed in FT Wainwright, Alaska after taking the ASVAB 2 times and scores 101 right now and hope to score 110 through the fast class and try out for SELECTION. I just have one question after talking to a few NCO's they have told me that they won't want someone who is a PFC there. They won't take you very seriously as I have never been deployed and wanted to ask do you feel it is better to wait until I am at least an NCO before volunteering? I ask as none of these NCO's were in SELECTION but they tell me it's not something that I'm ready for because I am not an NO yet and they prefer that much more in SELECTION.
