FORT BRAGG, N.C. (USASOC News Service, Aug. 17, 2010) – Members of the media are invited to attend the Regimental First Formation – the first donning of the Green Beret – and the 254th Special Forces Qualification Course graduation ceremony.
The RFF will be held at 4 p.m., Aug. 19 at the John F. Kennedy Plaza on Fort Bragg and the graduation will take place at Aug. 20 at 11 a.m., at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, N.C.
More than 100 SFQC students spent the last year or more learning skills required to be Special Forces Soldiers, including individual specialty skills, unconventional warfare methods, and language and cultural expertise. These Soldiers trained to be Special Forces officers, medics, engineers, weapons experts and communication specialists.
