I am looking for some practical advice from a current/recent Army SF. I am a rising junior D1 Athlete in college thinking VERY seriously about enlisting under an 18x contract. I've done my homework, scouring the internet, reading as much as I can regarding Army SF. As much as you can as a civilian from the comfort and quiet of my own home, I feel I have a handle on the training/pipeline and operational requirements of a SF operator. If possible, I'd like to actually speak (ie pm/email) a current or recent member of the SF community who's willing to help a hopeful out – regarding the tempo and lifestyle. If you are, or know of some one who could lend a hand, I'd really appreciate it.
