The 7-month-old English bulldog jumped out of a moving vehicle at the boot camp and broke a toe on his left hind paw. He was treated by a veterinarian at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.

In other news, every single Marine will endure a 2 hour safety brief this Friday on the importance of seatbelts while the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps weighs a proposal to ban Marines from every vehicle on the planet.
