Saw this one on Reddit. Just starting to watch it now but thought it might be of interest to people. It's from 1985 and is about Vietnam vets who elected to live in the bush after they got home.

Shit.

5 minutes in and I’m hooked. Folks want something to be outraged about, be outraged about how these men were “welcomed home”.

Same here. I don't know any country treated their Vietnam vets right- maybe ROK? I know our government was disgraceful.

I watched this a couple of days ago, just randomly popped up in the YouTube feed. It's pretty outrageous how the Vietnam veterans were treated, and unfortunate the lack of help they received on the mental health treatment.

That said, Veterans have been doing this for years, from all wars. War is going to change you, some people can deal with things and some cannot. If my wife would let me move her and the kids to the middle of nowhere, I'd be packed and gone tonight.
