As I mentioned in my intro I'm hoping to go the SOWT route in the near future. I took some atmospheric science and geography course work in college before changing majors and have some avalanche training etc so I feel like my root interest has long been there. I've done a ton of research, via SS, Specialtactics, GreyBerets, the SOWT FAQ from SMSgt Decorte etc. As is obvious, there's just not a ton of detailed info on the career field. Might there be anybody on SS willing to chat via pm in a little more detail (within reason and OPSEC of course) about the career filed and life style? Or know of any SOWT mentors out there? That would be mightily appreciated.
