are invited to attend the Regimental First Formation, the first donning of the Green Beret, and the graduation ceremony of the 252nd Special Forces Qualification Course. The RFF will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 26 at the John F. Kennedy Plaza on Fort Bragg and the graduation will take place at 9 a.m Thursday, May 27 at the Crown Coliseum.

If interested in covering the RFF May 26, media will meet at Stryker Golf Course, 1219 Bragg Blvd. (between Randolph and Gruber gates) at 1:15 p.m. If interested in covering the graduation May 26, media will link up at the entrance of the Crown Coliseum at 8:45 a.m.

The 120 Soldiers from the 252nd SFQC have spent the last year or more learning the skills required of apprentice Green Berets, including individual specialty skills, unconventional warfare methods, as well as language and cultural expertise.

Maj. Gen. Thomas R. Csrnko, commanding general of USAJFKSWCS, will be the guest speaker at this special Memorial Day weekend graduation, and will welcome these new Soldiers into the Brotherhood of Special Forces.

The Special Forces Qualification Course is part of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, the premiere training center for Special Forces, Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations, developing agile, adaptive, warrior-focused Soldiers.
