SWCC's SOC-R

I love the Navy Boating Tips video. The only major problem I have with any of those Bandito Brothers videos is that the SOC/R is pretty damn silent. In the video they have quite a roar to them.

Makes for good recruiting. If you want loud boats, go somewhere else.:)

I recognize two or three of the SWCC 22 guy's in those pics.

If you want a real boat ride Ravage, then let one of crew open up a SOC/R for you. Just hang on and try and try to anticipate his turns with your legs. :)

Those boat guys are fucking amasing! I'm no Navy guy but I think Bandito Brothers have done a great thing for those guys. I had a chance to talk via YT with a boatguys wife.
Btw is it an OPSEC thing if I ask how do they stay on the boat when it makes a sudden turn or uses those "breakes" ?
And two ..... why just one M134 on the starboard bow :D

The amount of fire power they pack onto those boats is pretty awesome. About the only thing they are missing is a couple stingers to engage air threats;):D

I was at 22. The secret is....hold on!!! No really, their is constant comms, either yelling or through headsets with the gunners.

The reason for only one GAU is primarily weight and ammo expenditure. We have a 4500 round can up front which can be emptied in no time at all. I use to have a spare 240 strapped to the center console so I could replace the GAU in case it went down. Anyone who has ever had to operate the GAU knows how temperamental it is.

Their was a time when we got to fuck around with some dual 240 mounts. 240's mounted side by side. That was a kick as set-up. You could not only "talk" with the other gunners, but "talk" with yourself. Rat of fire was not quite as fast as the GAU, but cranked up twin 240's can hammer it home.

I will brag a bit a say that some of the finest, if not the finest machine gunners in the US Military are at 22.

We fire stingers as well!!!:D

Their really isn't anything quite like a pitch dark boat ride down a river about twice as wide as the boat at 40+ mph. As a passenger without night vision you're positive sure you're going to die. With night vision you're convinced of it >:{ The funniest thing is when you are at full speed and there is a contact that the lead gunner can open up on. It blinds out the Boat Captain. Their is a lot of trust between the lead/forward gunner and the Boat Captain.

My bad, as shown on the pic there are two GAUs sometimes :D

Good face camo...no one will ever see you behind those oakleys.

They are good pics. If you look at them in succession w/o reading all the captions, it looks as though they assaulted Katrina survivors houses and then hauled ass. :D:P
