42 years ago, today, my interpretor, Tach Hoan, was killed in action by the NVA near Song Be, RVN. Tach Hoan was a true warrior having fought against the Japanese as a member of Ho Chi Minh's Army. He also fought for the French and after Dinh Binh Phu, he decided to fight for the Americans rather than getting drafted by the South Vietnamese.
