I'm not now nor never have been a member of the military, but have an interest in equipment, mainly vintage equipment and gear, training and tactics. I live in the Southwest U.S and my interest in all of this is primarily founded on the concern that who knows who is coming or may come across the border from the south. I think it is prudent to be prepared to defend and protect my family in the event that bad guys do cross the border and start trouble. I have friends in law enforcement and understand with the ratio of sworn officers to the general public, it would not take much for law enforcement to become overwhelmed. I'm an architect and found this forum through a Google search for "SEAL TRAINING". I thank all those enlisted in the military for their service and sacrifice, especially the families that are left at home while you serve. Other than that, I am just a pretty darn boring guy!
