Good morning everyone. My name is Trevor and I'm a active duty Marine stationed in D.C. I've been in for just over 9 years now. I am a huge admirer and supporter of all the special forces. I love to read, study, and research you all. For those in the Corps, I have submitted a MECEP package to finish school and then commission as an officer. If I am selected (should find out in a few weeks) I plan on auditioning for MARSOC. The thought of doing something different every day really appeals to me and pushing myself to new boundaries is what I am all about. I plan on using this site to prepare myself and get information from those who are serving currently or have served in the special forces community.

My MOS is no where close to this forum. Im a 5512. I'm a drummer for the US Marine Drum and Bugle Corps. I get my interest in spec ops/infantry/combat from my brother who was 3rd LAR.

What do you want to do as an officer? You can't commission directly into MARSOC.

I want to be in the combat field. My goal is to put out as hard and as best as I can, if I'm selected and do whatever the Marine Corps needs me to do.
