Hello everyone,
My name is Tweeder and I found this site a while back while searching for threads on rucking. I saw input on this site from members over at PS.com that I respect and knew that this was a quality place (Surgicalcric certainly being one of them). I've been lurking in the shadows for about a year now, and now that I'm officially contracted to 3/20 SFG(A) as a Rep-63 I figured I'd come aboard.
So far in my short military career I've been to BCT and attended 6 SFRE's in Florida. I was originally contracted as an 09s (Officer Candidate), but I opted to leave our commissioning program in pursuit of my dream of becoming an SF Soldier. HUMILITY CHECK: The people that ran our commissioning program were very supportive and helpful of my wishes to pursuit the SF Dream when they did not have to be. The OIC of the 09s program in our state is a very respected SF Solider who was prior enlisted.
Currently I'm awaiting my ship date of 20130805 (my birthday), training hard, having fun, getting married (April 6th), working hard at my civilian job, and spending precious time with my family (2 boys). I've also been known to enjoy a nice bourbon (Angels & Envy- TRY IT) or single malt (Glenlivet Nadurra).
