Tyson v Paul Fight

I cannot believe Netflix even took this on.

There is no "win" here, for literally anyone, especially not Paul. Paul gets knocked out in round one? The boxing experiment is over. It goes to some decision or Paul gasses (huge problem with this) and Tyson takes a TKO win? Paul looks worse. Goes to TKO for Paul, or decision for Paul? EVEN WORSE. It took you *how long* to finish a 60 year old?

Let's say Paul does the unthinkable and knocks Tyson out- great, he's almost 60, and the boo birds come out in flocks to talk about how Paul is literally ruining boxing and hasn't fought a boxer etc etc etc.

I don't care about boxing as a sport or legit anything about the purists, but just from a fight perspective, this is a miss. And yes, I will be watching every second.

Tyson doesn’t know this, but he's not just fighting for himself. He's also fighting for all us old guys - old man strength - that like to think we still have it when we tangle it up with the younger guys. 🤣

Bro, as an aside, Tyson said (emotionally) that he is fighting to show his kids that while they might not know it, he "is special".

I boxed in my early/mid-20s. I had conditioning and fitness. Now at (checking license...) 56, not so much. The call old man technique in BJJ 'old man jiu jitsu' for a reason. I blame it on stage 3 metastatic cancer, that's a pretty good scapegoat lol.
 
Holy hell...this is the worst broadcast crew in the history of fighting/combat sports. Rosie Perez? Really? Evander Holyfield seems baked out of his mind and they're trying to cover for him. Awful.

Right on.

Netflix is not ready for live streaming a prime time sporting event.
