Great to hear about the barracks situation at Ft. Sam. I'm sure it makes it a bit easier to focus on why you're there.
They shoved that shit down our throats. Because the cadre were just as miserable as we were

The barracks are far from a roach motel, but it ain't 5 star living. You'll spend plenty of time over your army career sleeping in tents/vehicles/the dirt, that you'll look fondly back on the barracks at AIT.
