Not sure if there are any Marines on the forum that are/were JAGs or recruiters, but I'm seeking advice for a legal issue encountered by my battle buddy.
Recently, he was arrested for a Class A misdemeanor charge filed for an incident that occurred last fall. If found guilty, will this Poolee be disqualified from service in the Corps? Last I checked, a Class A Misdemeanor is disqualifying, but maybe there's some waiver a former recruiter here knows about that (thankfully) I've never needed to know about.
I'm sincerely terrified for the guy, and I want to do anything I can to help him- I know he'd do the same for me.
