Hi. before i ask my question, i just want to say thanks for having website around it has helped a lot. i have been reading a lot of threads that have been posted and they have answered pretty much any questions i have had. So thanks for that guys.

Basically with regards to the air force downsizing at the moment both with enlisted and officer slots. I wanted to ask what you would suggest would be the best possible option to follow enroute to becoming an STO?

I am not currently stateside and will be enlisting from the UK after i finish my degree at university. ideally my chosen route is to go from enlisted to STO given the processes and steps needed to be taken. i have been made aware that the USAF do prefer 'degrees' to come from an accredited stateside colleges but i have read of American/British dual citizens becoming officers after following relevant processes in outlined by the USAF.

My chosen career at the moment is combat controller.

thanks for all input .. appreciate it

Your attention to detail needs work.

If you want to be an enlisted CCT guy, worry about that right now. You have a two-year training pipeline just to make it to an operational unit, much less the time you'll need to put in proving yourself before you can even think about going STO. Have you been over to specialtactics.com yet?

Aspiring Jumper.... attention to detail, proper use of Grammar, Spelling Capitalization, construction and Usage are measures of your professionalism, up through this point, you've failed, miserably and repeatedly. When asking questions or responding to queries you are being evaluated by people who may have a hand in your training, be professional, be accurate, be prepared with as much of your own research prior to asking anything. Yes, this is a bit of a slam, but it's also a training moment... act like the professional you are telling people you want to become.
