I was gonna ask. What kind of rounds are coming out of the miniguns?

The rounds impact, then 1/2 second later detonate.... I don not know the nomenclature... can anyone help??

The miniguns use the same round that your M60/M240 uses. What you're seeing is the 30mm rounds impacting. That's the slow burst you hear.

Look at the picture posted above in the parking lot. - the left (or right as you're looking at it) weapons platform - you can see the barrel of the 30mm chain gun.
