One man's (or woman's or...person's or whatever) funny is another's cringe or hate speech. I've made, and continue to make, some pretty crass jokes. We, this forum, have laughed at some insanely funny, but off color jokes. Hmm, we're in the Dot thread, imagine that.
At some point, we have to get over ourselves and decide our own threshold for what is funny or acceptable without pushing those views on others. America today, indeed the world, is overrun with people trying to force their standards on others. Is it poor form to joke about 9/11 or the Holocaust? Probably. Anyone here ever joke about the Irish Potato Famine? Slavery? Your mom jokes? The French surrendering TWICE in a century while millions of that country's citizen died? Anyone want to make those comments at a pub in Verdun? Someone out there does not find that shit funny, but we (the royal we) make jokes about those subjects. Hell, I joke about sex crimes and some of ya'll laugh. (The last time I xxxxxx the state wouldn't allow me within 500' of an elementary school).
Humor is subjective and how many people do we need to cancel before we (the royal we making another appearance) become victims of our own success? There's too many butthurt people on this rock and maybe I don't find a joke funny or even objectionable...tough shit for me. I'm not going to be one of those folks when there are far, far better things to be angry about. A Muslim joking about 9/11? Wow. You know what's funny, something that tons of members here laugh about?
I wore that patch on my body armor in Afghanistan. Everyone's angry about something.

I have a number of problems with that sport, indeed a whole rant (because...did anyone expect any different?), but two things in particular stand out for me:
1. Flopping and people actively defending this process. I wouldn't surprised if legit flopping methods/ styles were taught.
2. Teams and fans happy to play to a DRAW. A FUCKING TIE! You started at a tie, how can you end in the same state? If that's fine, then why play the game at all?
I will vote for almost any presidential candidate who bans soccer from our great country.
