I read it was decommissioned, do they have active security?

I can remember being a kid in Philly, pops (rest easy, miss you) had a boat, we took it down Delaware towards Philly Naval Base and came close to an active carrier, on board security was right there, coast guard showed up, fun times.

A museum ship? Nothing to repel or prevent a boat from hitting the ship.

Philly is eerie because of the mothball fleet. When I drove through in 2004, it was kind of wild looking and a little sad.
