Whether good or bad throughout history, there's no doubt it's amazing what the human race can accomplish. I can't imagine being alive and witnessing the excitement of this mission's duration.

Consider Alan Shephard's suborbital cannonball launch in 1961 and a mere 8 years later we land on the moon. An unprecedented feat of engineering. And accomplished while fighting a major war and enduring widespread social unrest.

I recommend watching this Movie if you have time....its a Scientific Comedy about Apollo 11:

It's a good movie, I only caught it again a few months ago. The writing team, Santo Cilauro, Tom Gleisner, Jane Kennedy and Rob Sitch are all funny fuckers, they've done a lot of excellent TV. Patrick Warburton as the token American, fits in well, he's dry as toast.
