Apollo 11 Launch

Whether good or bad throughout history, there's no doubt it's amazing what the human race can accomplish. I can't imagine being alive and witnessing the excitement of this mission's duration.

Hate to say it, but I remember this. Only just but yes. I had a coloring book that had rabbit astronauts going up in a rocket labeled Apollo 11.
Still smile when I remember that.

I recommend watching this Movie if you have time....its a Scientific Comedy about Apollo 11:

The true story of a group of eccentric scientists who are responsible for manning a satellite dish inauspiciously located on a remote Australian sheep farm. Much to NASA's alarm, the unconventional Aussie team -- led by Cliff Buxton (Sam Neill) -- are the world's only hope for receiving the historic images of man's first steps on the moon. With help from the colorful cast of local characters, the crew struggles to overcome a series of mishaps.

In other words.......typical tuesday for commo........:-o :ROFLMAO: 8-) ;-)

I remember this too. For a while after, I wanted to be an astronaut. Till I caught the veterinary bug, and then the forest ranger bug... :ROFLMAO:

It's a good movie, I only caught it again a few months ago. The writing team, Santo Cilauro, Tom Gleisner, Jane Kennedy and Rob Sitch are all funny fuckers, they've done a lot of excellent TV. Patrick Warburton as the token American, fits in well, he's dry as toast.
