I have learned that LTG David E. Grange passed away 9/11/2022. I had the pleasure of having three brief conversations with the man, once when I was in 5/19 SF and he was the CG of Readiness Region VIII, another when I had just finished OCS and he was the CG of the Infantry School and the last one when he commandeered my office in Alaska when he was a rep for McDonnell Douglas and we were in the process of fielding the Dragon anti-tank weapon (I was a company commander at the time). RIP.

Didn't see a point in starting a new thread.

Rangers cleaned up recently. Not only did they win the Best Ranger Competition, but they won the International Sniper, Best Mortar, and the U.S. Army Best Medic Competitions as well.

Quite the sweep by the 75th to start the first half of the year.
