What are the Age Maximums for selection ?

I wont get my Bachelors till 38

I was told that there is no Age Max, you just have to be in shape.

A ranger actually told me the cutoff was 45 for delta and British SAS and SBS

Is this true ?

Is it better to just join the FFL at that age ?

I have no Prior Military Experience, absolute Greenie

But I can also get in some Land Navigation, SCUBA, I can do things out here that can help me in my indoc.

I was also thinking like FrontSight Firearms academy, GPS DEfense Sniper School and Tactical Response.

I am getting a Bachelors in Philosophy, I can change that to either Econ, Political Science, or what ever CIA/Army needs me to do, or I can get a combo of Bachelors an Minors

What have you been doing with the other 30+ years of your life? Honestly with no prior military experience/skills you will be hard pressed to get into any special operations branch at your age. For example, the age cutoff of for BUD/S is 28.....so you 're about 10 yrs too old.

It's a young man's game! I work out all the time just to make sure there is no doubt I can still lead from the front. I might have to get up 30 mins earlier to stretch and have a cup of coffee (and not stay out drinking all night) but I still got it! :)
