So I’m currently 2 years into my first enlistment. Sheet metal by trade. I need something more and truly believe I have something to offer to the special operations community of the Air Force.

I was labeled mildly color deficient at MEPS 2 years ago. It’s never been an issue in my life prior to MEPS, and it’s hasn’t been ever since.

I’m within my retraining window soon and plan to pursue this new career path. But I’m looking for some Information regarding waivers for color deficiency and if anyone has ever seen this done or knows that this is possible. If it is possible, what the process for that would look like.

Thanks for positive advice, I can do without any negative or unnecessary feedback 👍

Wait... are you looking to go AFSOC or Ranger?

Also, it would help to post an intro in the appropriate area. Two vastly different goals between two posts and no intro is going to be a rough ride here.
