When I was in HOA in '07, myself, some other guys I worked with, and a handful of Marine NCOs were having a couple beers over in the SOCCE compound. Somehow the Virginia Beach PD came up. I had a bit of a buzz going on and thought it was a good idea for me to run my suck about how those dudes were assholes because one of them gave me a noise ticket one time (truck radio turned up too loud). Turns out that the Master Gunnery Sergeant with us was a USMC Reservist, but a full-time Virginia Beach Police Officer. Fuck. Me. I definitely learned that lesson the hard way.
