Domestic Terrorism, Lone Wolf Attacks etc...

Here are a few things that I have really had a hard time wrapping my head around over the last few decades...
This is just another perfect example of failed liberal policies in a liberal city. It seems like a "perfect example" to those that think "like us" but the problem is - the problem with liberalism is that they see this as proof that there isn't ENOUGH leftism permeating the inner cities of our great nation - or even that there is such a thing as "our great nation" - it's actually Regan's fault, made worse by 'Dubya, and pushed off the cliff by something something Trumps fault

I can almost guarantee that each and every Jew there (I will say this with certainty, being of half jew blood, being surrounded by liberal jews) that each and every jew/unfortunate victim were unarmed and probably anti gun. - and will almost certainly return to the ballot box during the next election cycle to vote for more of the same

Imagine if just 1 person had a gun and knew how to use it, not counting LEOs. Imagine if just 1 person ventilated this fucker at center mass, thus, preventing the tax payers footing his incarceration bill for decades. - I actually imagine that one person with a gun being charged with murder while the rest of the nations activists erects statues and paints murals to memorialize the criminal - in fact, I can even see "the squad" having a photo op where they all take a knee in support of the poor dead activist that was only trying to live his best life

I'll never know why jews remain liberal in general. Of course, I'm obviously painting this with broad strokes but tell me I'm off target. -no, you aren't off target - in fact, we are all wondering the very same thing

Here in America, we have turned victimhood into a profession. If victimhood was an Olympic sport, American Medal winners would have more gold than Fort Knox.
...and we just keep voting them back into office - year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year

Suicidal empathy + victimhood x entitlement = today.

CNN is doing shit like this, underscoring that it's little more than a tabloid.
The owner of a local clothing store, Heady Bauer, who did not want to be named, told CNN he and an employee saw big flames out front.

Heady Bauer is a local vintage store, not someone's name. It's a very badly written sentence.

The other thing- not a single person there was carrying? Quick search says Boulder has more restrictions than the state writ large, which are all infringements BTW- but I just don't get it.

Had a discussion about this a few weeks ago in our office when an LT asked if people carried everywhere.

The college/downtown/flatirons area of Boulder doesn't seem to be one people commonly carry in, for 1 of 2 reasons.

1. Boulder/Longmont are treated like a mini Mountain town (Vail, Breck, Aspen) and people don't carry there because of general safety OR local laws.

2. They just don't go to Boulder because it's to liberal for them.

This is no surprise to anyone here, but both of these reasons make zero sense to me. Not like I can't understand what you're saying, it was well stated.

But bro. I carry literally everywhere. All the time. For legal reasons the video in this link is simply for educational purposes and not an exposition of my actions (calm down NSA agents reading the chat).

Boulder has such a reputation as a Lib stronghold that the carry everywhere dudes in the office just seemed to refuse to go their because of overall political reasons.

It's really to bad because, despite it's general reputation, Boulder has got a ton of great stuff worth checking out. Hell, if you're carrying concealed properly nobody should ever know you've got a weapon on you in the first place.

The federal international terrorism laws have to have a designated terrorism nexus, or inspired by a designated terrorism organization (DTO). DTOs are listed here: Technical Difficulties (not sure why the hyperlink says technical difficulties, but link is good)

Palestine is not a DTO, Hamas is a DTO.

This asshole fits the hate crime statue better....

18 U.S.C. §249 says, “Whoever willfully causes bodily injury to someone or, through using a firearm, a firearm, a dangerous weapon, or an explosive or incendiary device, attempts to cause bodily injury to anyone, because of the actual or perceived race, color, religion, or national origin of any person, shall be fined and imprisoned for up to ten years or life in prison if death results or the offense includes kidnapping, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to kill.”

The punishment is usually 10 years...but could be life in prison for attempted murder in the process, which fits here.

EDIT: saw news tonight and US Attorney office has filed the hate crime law for the POS.

You don't have to have an international terrorism connection to be a terrorist act. Otherwise, the FBI wouldn't be calling this guy's actions "terrorism."

"It was the worst act of homegrown terrorism in the nation’s history."

That was a Domestic Terrorism crime....and since there is not a Domestic Terrorism Statute...he was charged with charges related to use of a WMD, murder of LEOs. But he was classed as a DT subject, as he fit the definition they use;

Domestic terrorism: "Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature"

as opposed to:

International terrorism: Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups who are inspired by, or associated with, designated foreign terrorist organizations or nations (state-sponsored)

Sure, the Colorado event was "Terrorism" just not by statute. That is all I'm saying....it just seems to be the buzz word people are using.
