Former EM2 introduction

Hey guys!

I'm a former Electricians Mate 2nd Class, served in the Navy from 2005 - 2010 onboard the USS Porter as the E-Div LPO and onboard USS Nashville as an electrician. Currently I'm using my GI Bill and studying Applied Mathematics at ODU in Norfolk, VA and work part-time as a CrossFit coach in the Hampton Roads area. I will be graduating this upcoming May '14 with my Bachelors and I'm looking for points of contact in the NG SF community.

This is a great resource and I'm glad to be on here, thanks!

Welcome to the site. I was on the Ross and the Nashville in that timeframe. Ross from 2004-2007, and then the Nashville in 2008. Which gym are you working at?

CDG - Dang, I was on the Nashville from '06 to early '07 (had a knee surgery) and then went back onto the Porter in early '08. I coach at CrossFit 757 over in Norfolk.

cback - That's awesome, I wasn't a nuke, although they tried to get me to go that route.

Right on dude. 757 is a solid gym from what I remember. I used to coach at Compound CrossFit and currently at CrossFit Hampton Roads when I'm in town.
